Spiced-Up Oven Baked Potato Wedges
What You’ll Need:
Preparing the ingredients for your baked potato wedges is easier than you think. While most potato wedge seasonings need a lot of extra spices, our recipe won’t strain your wallet. You’ll only need a few herbs and spices. Then add the potatoes, and you’re all set!
- 3 potatoes, wedged and unpeeled
- 20 Sriracha butter garlic seasoning stix
- 1/2 tsp. thyme, dried and chopped
- Black pepper, ground
- Garlic, minced
- Olive oil
Note: If you don’t like thyme, you may opt for rosemary leaves as a substitute.
How to Cook the Perfect Oven Baked Potato Wedges
Step 1: Preheat Oven
Before mixing the ingredients together, be sure to preheat your oven to 400° F. Having a ready oven ensures your potato wedges will be crispy outside and soft inside.
Step 2: Rinse and Cut the Potatoes
While preheating your oven, rinse and scrub the potatoes. After you’ve finished, cut each potato in half lengthwise twice or thrice, depending on the size of wedges you’d like to go for.
Step 3: Fill ’em with Sriracha Butter Garlic Seasoning Stix
Every recipe has its own secret ingredient. Luckily, we’ll share ours with you. By adding a Sriracha butter garlic seasoning stix, you can add all the spice and flavor of your favorite sauce to the inside of your potato wedges. Simply slide the seasoning stix inside your potato wedges. Then, place the potato wedges in such a way they have enough space for the air to come through.
Step 4: Season the Potato Wedges
After putting in the secret ingredient, it’s time to add your normal potato wedges seasoning. Set the wedges on a baking sheet and start rubbing olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme to the potato wedges. Make sure to spread the seasoning evenly, so you don’t have bland spots.
Step 5: Bake Until Golden and Crisp
In order to get binge-worthy potato wedges, spread your slices in a single layer, cut side down. Bake the potatoes for about 30-35 minutes. Then flip to the other side for another 20 mins. You’ll know they’re done when they’re golden brown and crisp.
Step 6: Add the Finishing Touch
Every dish needs a finishing touch before it’s served. For our recipe, a light sprinkle of salt and pepper will complete the meal. Now you can enjoy your freshly-baked potato wedges seasoned with Sriracha garlic butter!
