Not only that, you won’t need to slave away for hours just to get the right tender meat which falls right off the bone. This recipe for slow cooker ribs is easy to prepare and quick to clean up. It’s just the right dish to serve when you’re having guests over or when you want something a little special for the family.

This easy slow cooker ribs recipe requires minimal prep and cleanup for maximum flavor!

Sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup onion chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup tomato ketchup
Rub
  • 3 pounds baby back pork ribs
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup onion chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • to taste ground black pepper
  • to taste salt

Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, mix the ingredients for the sauce. Stir while allowing the mixture to simmer for about 15 minutes. Set the sauce aside.
  2. Next, remove the skin from the back side of the ribs.
  3. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the dry rub before rubbing it onto the ribs.
  4. Grease your crockpot before placing the ribs inside. Add half a cup of the sauce.
  5. Set the crockpot on low and cook for eight hours.
  6. Once the ribs have been cooked, take them out and brush some of the sauce on the ribs. Serve.
  7. Optional: Before serving, you can broil the ribs in your oven first for a nice outer crisp. Just place the ribs on a baking sheet and broil them for three to five minutes.

With such a straightforward and no-fuss crockpot recipe, who wouldn’t want to try making their own crockpot ribs? It’s a special dish which requires no special ingredients or equipment.
