Add 1 tablespoon of oil in a medium size pan over a medium heat. Saute minced garlic for 30 seconds. Then, add onion and stir for 2 minutes. Add tomato ketchup, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, water, and chicken stock powder. Stir and taste. Add sugar (optional), for added sweetness. Add slurry and stir.
Let the sauce simmer for about 2-3 minutes or until it reaches your desired consistency over a medium heat.
